Graduators

To all of you feeling nostalgic and remorseful about the ending of High School, I think you should re-evaluate your feelings.

While it is perfectly acceptable - actually encouraged - to feel sad about the ending of a majority of your life lived thus far, maybe you should take a step back and consider all high school has done for you.

I believe high school was, at best, a dream/nightmate. Real life begins Friday for all of you, and you should take that into account. There is nothing holding you back from becoming absolutely anything you want to be the second you are handed that diploma.

High school may have been a time of greatness for you, but I can assure you that you will go on to better things - to the point that looking back at this part of your life will seem like a joke.

So I encourage you to not be sad in the following days and instead be jovial in that you are completing the precursor to your greatness. This is just the prologue. Enjoy the final days walking the halls of your esteemed school, because everything you experience past friday will be worlds away and worlds better.
